Vampy's Weblog - Life of a Medical Officer

Oh, boy! Today's clinical day is sure interesting enough... Saw a patient with Type I personality... angry, aggressive and so on... He was rude to one of my classmates who was asking him questions about his admission. He went as far as saying "your questions ain't helping me and you're pissing me off.." well, what can we do in those situations? Back off so polittely we said our goodbyes and left him to stew in his own anger...I must say I'm impressed wiht how my classmate handled the situation... Dunno what i would have done.. I think I would have blanked out and forget what questions to ask...
On the other hand, we saw a complete opposite personality in another patient... he was most willing to talk... if we allowed him to continue, I think he would still be talking now... School has just started for a month but stress is really mounting now... I'm studying almost everyday Hopefully everything will work out...
